BR 200 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 107.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from BR200 Blower is a great tool I purchased our BR200 to occasionally blow leaves off our deck and yard; and grass trimmings from the driveway. Works great removing grass trimmings. It does a great job with large leaves (Maple) and smaller leaves (Oak, Alder, and Birch). Ample velocity of air for the leaves wet or dry! The blower is light enough for my wife to use, and she actually enjoys using it. It is comfortable to use for long periods of time. The BR200 is not obnoxious for our neighbors (we live in an area with homes on 2+ acres), in fact...quieter than I expected. We are very happy with our purchase! for my drawback...the BR200 will not effectively move the little Maple Tree Seeds (Helicopters) from the lawn. If this is what you need, you will be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just used for leaves and debris. This little blower is amazingly powerful. Don't be fooled by its small appearance.I find myself using it more for drying my Harley than I do for leaves. I was using a handheld blower that did work very well but I personally like this small backpack blower better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from don't let the cfm numbers fool you, this is a great blower While the air speed and cfm numbers may not be the highest, this little blower is great. It is lightweight, much more so than other backpacks. Its easy to use. My two teenage daughters actually were arguing about who got to use it more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am very pleased with my purchase This leaf blower is very light and easy to operate. It is very easy for woman to handle and does a great job in gardens. It is fairly quiet compared to commerical blowers and I would highly recomend this product for home use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BR 200. Good buy If you are looking for a light weight backpack blower for general use by a homeowner, the BR 200 is a good choice. Mine has made fall yard cleanup much easier. It has enough power to get the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light Weight and Powerful I was in the market looking for a new backpack blower and chose the BR200 because of its light weight. I am pleased with the amount of power this has. Starts easily and runs very smooth.... a great investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product for landscapers I've owned my own lawn care and landscape business now for about three years and the Stihl BR200 has pulled through on many jobs. This blower is light yet powerful. It can blow around leaves, grass, and debris with ease. Its very dependable and easy to use. An excellent blower and affordable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great piece of equipment from Stihl I use this blower almost every day to blow grass clippings off lawns that I mow. Has pleanty of power to blow grass, dirt, leaves, and even small rocks. Very reliable and easy to use. Great machine that I would recommend to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this blower has good power I bought this in lieu of an Echo 500. My main reason was the weight, only being 12 pounds vs 22.doesn't have as much power, but for what I use it for it is perfect. Mainly I use it to dry off my cars when I wash them, and keep my property starts very easily,it will blow grass clippings and small piles of leaves easily. If you're looking to blow massive amounts of leaves this is not the blower for you. Overall I am very happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this equipment is the perfect balance of weight to power I bought this on recommendation of a friend. I expected the unit to be much heavierand have been pleased by how light and how much power it has. This is another great Stihl product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good backpack blower Bought this stihl br200 backpack blower to replace old handheld blower( not a stihl). The stihl br 200 cranks very easily every time.It is light weight and comfortable to use.It is lacking in power a bit , however , it isplenty powerful to do the work around ourproperty. Overall a very good backpackblower for the money. I have had this blowerfor a few months now and I have no regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old muscles no longer able to take extended raking. I've always liked using a leaf rake to pick up leaves, however as I've aged I no longer have the stamina in my arms for extended raking. Have used the big backpack blower at times but it's too big for my yard so settled on the BR 200. Perfect size for my yard and my back,. Starts first pull and really like the new choke system and kill switch. I can finally get all the debris off my driveway. Something a broom wouldn't do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, efficient blower I needed to move up from a handheld blower to a backpack style and STIHL has the widest selection of backpack blowers available. I was unsure of what size/model to purchase and the sales rep patiently went through the specs with me for each model. In the end I chose the BR 200 and am very happy with it. It is lightweight, easy to start, and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I have a large residential lot with many mature oak trees and need a blower that can handle large amounts of wet leaves. The BR 200 is efficient and powerful enough to do the job, and take much less time than my old handheld blower. I am thrilled with the weight and size of this model. The fueling could not be easier and the starting is equally simple. I would recommend this product to anyone searching for a backpack style blower. My only caveat is the presence of gas fumes from the engine, which is unavoidable but may cause issues for some users.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very good homeowner backpack blower. Exoected it to have alittle more power Great product. Starts very easy, runs great, lightweight, low vibrations. Expected a little more power but still would purchase again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Keeps falling apart I bought this for my wife who helps me with my landscaping business. She could not handle a heavier blower. The size is great. It really lacks power. I have a stihl hand blower that is more powerful. Also it keeps falling apart literally. Last time all of the internal bolts fell out. I repair equipment so after an hour of taking it completely apart, I had it running again. The other issue is the air cleaner cover is always coming loose. Plastic!! I have replaced it once already.Redmax has a similar weight blower, next time it disintegrates I'm trying one of those.Sorry guys, I love all of your other products. Just not this one. Also my BG 86 keeps falling apart . Only use it 2 hours per week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stihl product! I've had my blower for over a year and it is great for its size! It blows leaves and grass clipping with no problem at all. I love the fact that it has so much power, is easy to start and is very light for a backpack blower! My nine year old likes to help me when we a working in the yard. He thinks it's the coolest thing that he can actually start it and use it. Highly recommend this blower!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This blower is the best Being a female senior citizen with a mended broken shoulder, I was looking for a backpack gasoline powered blower that was lightweight, yet would blow leaves dry or wet. This blower is PERFECT, does the job with ease and lots of power.I am only limited by my imagination as to how much work I want to do.Thank you Stihl for making a product that is compact, lightweight and yet has the power to complete all of my leaf blowing duties.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Was afraid it would be under powered, pleasantly surprised. I bought this to maintain my small 1/8th of an acre lot. I am on a budget and didn't want to buy something that had more power than I needed, thereby wasting money. It easily moved leaves from hard to reach places, and is certainly powerful enough to blow off driveways and sidewalks. I actually had to cut back on the power when I was blowing leaves off of mulch beds as it would blow the mulch away also. Also much quieter than i thought it would be. I had previously owned a handheld vac that boasted wind speed of 200 MPH, this one advertises 130 MPH but seemed to be way more powerful.I don't have to use a blower for much more than that. Hoping it holds up to my opinion over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great home owner blower Is it a professional blower? No. Is it good for what it was designed for? Yes. It is light and efficient for home lawn maintenance. It is easy to move in and around bushes and trees. Much better than a hand held blower. Run time is 2 hours or more on one tank of gas, It moved a substantial amount of leafs with no back strain vibration numbness. Starts easily and never stalled. If you want a light easy to use back pack blower buy quality. Buy Stihl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall a great leaf blower. I am a female and a the main user of this equipment. It is light weight, easy to start and has plenty of power. My house is surrounded by woods and I use this constantly. It is even good on wet leaves. This is my second backpack leaf blower (first one not a Stihl) and it is hands down the best.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great quality but should have purchased the more powerful one Quality is great as is all Stihl products. Very easy to start and use. However I really should have purchased the more powerful model. I already spent a lot so another few bucks shouldn't have made a difference. It was more the weight I was concerned about as this model is just about 1/2 the weight of the "better" model but really not very powerful. Trying to blow stuff off my just cut (quite low at that) lawn I really have to get on top of it to move it off the grass.Unless all you want to clear is hard surfaces (sidewalks, garages, roofs, driveways etc) go for the heavier duty model. Penny wise, pound foolish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for use at home. I have two large driveways plus a long sidewalk. This blower does a good job getting all the leaves and grass clippings off in short order. Not as powerful as a professional model, but priced right and only weighs 12 pounds. Doesn't vibrate noticeably either. Huge gas tank - rarely requires refilling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior backpack - easy start - super lightweight - very comfortable This unit is so easy to use - power to weight are amazing . Barely feel the pack on ,motor is isolated so vibration is very low . I use only high octane gas with the recommended oil , starts every time ,been using for about 90 days .This is very fine piece of equipment,I will only buy this brand, have the grass whip and chain saw also, all are just the best ! Excellent support from commercial lawnmower !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack blower! I bought this at my local Stihl dealer and used it as soon I got home. I was immediately impressed with the performance of this blower. It was easy to start, comfortable to wear and simple to operate. Plus it looks pretty cool too! I have used it several times since on my medium to small size yard and have not had to refuel yet. This blower puts to shame the electric blower that l had before. The handheld blower I had before put a lot of strain on my arm during long sessions and big clean ups. With the backpack blower, it takes that strain off your arm and spreads it out comfortably across your back with little to no vibration. Money well spent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lacks Power- Calling this machine professional is a total overstatement I used my new Stihl BR200 yesterday so the experience is fresh in my mind. First - the good news - the machine started multiple times without much difficulty. I used fresh gasoline mixed with the HP Ultra Motor Oil I purchased in the store. Also, the machine was light without causing any back strain, Now the bad news - this machine totally lacks the power to do a small yard clean-up. To call this machine professional is a total overstatement. Also, the blowing tube did not stay together after multiple tries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In my opinion, Stihl makes the best outdoor equipment I had other brands of blowers, all handhelds but nothing compares to the quality of Stihl. I started back in 1984 with a .028 chainsaw that is almost indestructible. I thought about a weedwacker and bought a straight shaft one last year that works great. Now I had to purchase a new blower so I had all intentions on buying the BR350. I tried it on and i thought it was a little heavy for my wife but I really wanted the power. Dealer put fuel in the BR200 and I tried it. It really works well, so I bought it. My wife likes it because she can also bend over and pick up sticks with it on and doesn't have to worry about the extra weight on her back. Nice job Stihl on making a blower that is so user friendly plus powerful.
